About Us

We are a volunteer organization of the City of Clute, Texas.  We respond to various kinds of emergency calls, such as, fire, rescue, mutual aid, and other types of assist calls.

Our department started in 1945.  At that time the department purchased their first piece of apparatus.  The department bought the Ford fire truck for $1523.67.  Since that time when the department was founded the apparatus has grown from one to seven. 

At present we have twenty-eight firefighters on our roll.  We all volunteer our time to serve our community.  Our department has dedication and heart to care for our community by serving it with emergency services as well as public relations.
